I’m one of those who tend to create a playlist and listen to it over and over again. I like to zone out a little, and although my gym plays a decent radio station at a fairly loud volume, I like to get in the zone.

You want to include songs in your playlist that will lift you up and spur you one. I always find songs with a good loud or fast beat inspire me to cycle or run faster.
You could use a formula of creating an easy going warm-up playlist, just like you’re warming up for a big party – the party being your main workout. Or just hit go and blast the music from the start to finish off your routine.
